Project “Nature days”
In the summer of 2003 was established „Wolf museum” in Saldutiskis, Utena region. Wolf is vanishing species in Europe. Despite international commitments to preserve wolves, people are still killing them in Lithuania. All this is related with the intelectual stereotypes when wolfe is treated as rapacious and not having any positive features. This project will form new attitude towards wolves and propagate it among young people in this way changing society’s opinion too.This project will encourage to protect wolves. Cumulated methodical material could be used to protect other animals too.

The purpose of this project - to form new attitude towards wolves and propagate it among young people in this way changing society’s opinion too. This project will encourage protecting wolves. The start of such activities directed to wolve’s protection was made in the summer of 2003 when Public institution „Ramuno atelje“ established „Wolf museum“.
During the implementation of the project “Wolf museum” will be equipped a room – “Wolf cave” in this museum. Computers with educational program and video films about the life of wolves and their conservation will be placed in this room – “Wolf cave”. All persons interested in life of wolves will have possibility to gain all information about them in this room – “Wolf cave”. It will be prepared informational material – booklet about the life of wolves that will be distributed to persons interested in this field.
The target group of this project – children and youth. It will be formed a team of specialists who will work with children and youth. During the project will be organized summer camps for children and youth in “Wolf museum”. During these summer camps children will have a task to gather folklore and contemporary material about wolves; they will hear lectures and participate in discussions about the protection, conservation of wolves. They will create scenario with the help of collected material. This scenario will be the base of the play. This play will be showed to inhabitants of nearest towns and villages. The team of specialists will make lectures – discussions (about nature and of course about the life of wolves particularly) for children and youth. Children will have possibility to work with computers with new program that will help them to gain information about wolves and their protection in “Wolf cave”. They will watch video films about nature.
It will be organized excursions of schoolchildren to “Wolf museum” too.
All practical and creative work will be filmed and made photos. This material will be used in creation of cognitive film about the project. Video and photo material about life of wolves together with the description of the project will be placed in created website. All interested persons will have possibility to see it. Also it will be arranged meetings in schools during which will be presented the project and all collected material that helps to develop the sense of nature love and care of nature. Children that will participate in the project will be invited to share their experience, to distribute their collected material. Of course, cumulated methodical material could be used to protect other animals too.
This project will encourage young people to look at nature more closely. Project will help to develop the sense of love to nature, to all alive creations of nature, this project will help to form new attitude towards wolves and propagate it among young people in this way changing society’s opinion too. This project will encourage protecting wolves.
Project “I want to be”
The purpose of this project was to found the day centre for the rehabilitation of young drug addicts. The target group of this project was young drug addicts. Public institution “Ramuno atelje” was the project partner (project leader was Charity fund “Vilnius community center”) and participated actively in the organizing of all activities. The project was implemented in Vilnius city, Lithuania. Results: several groups of young drug addicts had a possibility to start new life without drugs and this day center and all activities arranged in it helped them.
Project “I have to know”
The purpose of this project was to encourage pupils to discuss about drug addiction and to formulate suggestions to politicians how better to organize drug prevention policy; to develop public spirit among youth; drug prevention. The project was implemented in 12 schools in Vilnius city. In the discussions participated about 1500 pupils and teachers. It was prepared methodical material of the project. Pupils had prepared several suggestions how to improve their situation, how to solve drugs problem amongst youth and presented these suggestions to politicians during the “round table” discussion.
Project “Discover yourself”
Social-psychological work with risk group children (children who parents are alcohol or other drugs addicted), leisure activities, versatile training of individuality that will help them to discover their talents, interests and realize their needs. Goals of the project: to organize leisure activities for children from risk group and in this way to reduce their delinquency; to give for children an opportunity to discover their talents and capacities and when they will be recognized to give an opportunity to develop them; to call back children from the street life helping them to form their value system; to reduce children’, growing in families where parents are addicted to alcohol or other drugs, social exclusion, at the same time training socially full-fledged individuality. Project was implemented in Vilnius city.
Project “Discover yourself – summer camp”
The purpose of this summer camp was to help to risk group children to discover their talents, to gain knowledge about negative influence of drugs and alcohol, to improve their social – psychological condition. 15 risk group children had a possibility to participate in the summer camp. During the camp children discovered activities that were interested for them, their individuality become richer and creativity was improved; they gained a wider scale of feelings; learned how to analyze their and their friends’ life situations and etc.
